Banana Manuka & Matcha Green Smoothie

Whether you drink it for breakfast or as a post-workout snack, this smoothie is chock-full of essential fatty acids, antioxidants, phytonutrients, protein, and fibre. Talk about an all in one treat! This smoothie will help energize your day and make you feel more alert and refreshed. With the addition of Wedderspoon’s Premium Raw Manuka Active 12+ Honey, you get a gentle hint of sweetness, plus antiviral and antibacterial properties – all in this super powered smoothie!

Makes: 2 large or 3 small servings

1¼ cups Hemp milk or dairy alternative

1- 1 ½ cups Water (to thin)

1- 1 ½ tbsp. Coconut oil

1- 1 ½ tsp. Wedderspoon’s Premium Raw Manuka Active 12+

2 tbsp. Chia seeds

½ tbsp. Hemp hearts

½ tbsp. Ground flax seeds

½- 1 tsp Matcha green tea powder

1tsp. Spirulina

1tsp. Maca root powder

1tsp. Acai powder

½-1 scoop Vanilla or unflavoured protein powder (optional)

2 cups Leafy greens (e.g. spinach, kale, swiss chard, beetroot greens, etc)

1 small Banana

Blend until well combined (and your desired consistency has been reached). Then, drink immediately and toast to your health!
